2024 ELECTIONS

United Food and Commercial Workers Local 7 represents over 23,000 members who work in retail, food processing, agriculture, cannabis, and health care industries in Colorado and Wyoming. We stand together to ensure better lives for workers, their families, and the communities in which they live, and we support elected officials who will be champions for our members.

Every election cycle, we run a member-first endorsement process to identify and support candidates at the federal, state, and local levels who will be champions for our members and weigh in on important ballot initiatives.

Our endorsement process is currently underway, and additional endorsements will be announced as they are confirmed. To inform our endorsements, we go through the following process:

  1. Solicit candidates from both sides of the aisle to complete our 2024 Candidate Questionnaire. Questionnaires are due no later than Friday, September 13.

  2. Review submitted questionnaires to evaluate whether they should be scheduled for an interview with our Executive Board Political Committee.

  3. Our Political Committee votes on each candidate and whether to make a campaign contribution from member-powered ABC Funds.

  4. We promote our endorsements on our website, across social media, and within local communities – and work to elect our endorse candidates.
