Denver, CO - This morning, Thursday February 6th at 5 AM, we began strikes at 77 King Soopers stores across many counties we had announced on Monday. Stores in Pueblo and Colorado Springs were not in the initial wave of strikes.

At our noon press conference today in Denver, we announced there would be an expansion of strikes to Pueblo King Soopers stores starting on Friday. However, the strikes are not yet expanding to Colorado Springs. Some of the Colorado Springs’ workers contracts have not expired. Strikes could expand to Colorado Springs once contracts do expire later in February, but again, the strikes are not expanding to Colorado Springs.
